Notre Dame Elementary offers opportunities for leadership and collaboration through Student Leadership Council (SLC). The SLC is made up of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who apply for positions of specific leadership and activity. Teacher moderators are involved in directing students and implementing student-driven activities. The SLC is made up of:
President, Vice President, Secretary
Religious Affairs Committee

Meetings are held monthly. SLC members attend all school-wide functions to support the school activities and provide leadership assistance to teachers.
To serve on SLC, students must
Apply for a desired position and give a speech to the student body as part of the election process
Have excellent student conduct
Have high-level academic grades
Be available to attend after-school functions on an as-needed basis
Serving on the Student Leadership Council allows students to thrive in a leadership role, express their ideas on how to improve their academic life and to get to know other students from a variety of grades.
