NDP FAQs

Notre Dame Preschool does not provide lunch, but we do offer an afternoon snack at 2:30 PM. Families may also choose to participate in our optional lunch service, Choicelunch.

• Preschool: Children have a designated nap time. Parents will need to provide a small sleep sack, which should be taken home every Friday for cleaning.
• TK: Transitional Kindergarten students have a rest/quiet time, during which they can relax on a cot with a book. We also incorporate yoga and meditation after lunch to promote relaxation.

Yes, children must be fully potty trained to attend. We understand that accidents happen, and our staff will assist children in the bathroom when needed. However, we ask that children be able to communicate their needs so teachers can provide appropriate support.

Children must be 3 years old by September of the school year they are applying for.

Yes! Our curriculum is vertically aligned with our Kindergarten standards to ensure a smooth transition. We use Savvas, Friendzy, and other high-quality resources to provide a well-rounded education that includes academics, social-emotional learning, and self-help skills. Our goal is to meet children where they are and support their developmentally appropriate milestones from Preschool to TK.

Our total capacity is 30 children, divided into two classrooms:

• Preschool (3–4 years old)
• Transitional Kindergarten (4–5 years old) – This class consists of students who will be eligible for Kindergarten the following school year.
• Student to Teacher Ratio is 1:10
