Welcome to Preschool! 

Our Curriculum focuses on diversity, inclusion, and social competence by immersing our students in a wide variety of subjects that nurture the Whole Child. We, as a Notre Dame Community, practice the 7 Hallmarks in the way we teach our youngest learners on a day-to-day basis. “Educate for life”

“These Notre Dame Hallmarks are used through a reflection-action-reflection process, whereby each learning community, on a regular basis, metaphorically takes a look in the mirror and based on what it sees, makes choices for continued development. Preschool program focuses on Mastery of following skills:

• Self help/confidence building

• Early communication

• Fine/Gross motor skills

• Inquiry/decision making 

• Spanish

• Development and appreciation of Hallmarks

Transitional Kindergarten program focuses on Kindergarten Readiness 

• Knowledge and understanding of basic Language Arts, Phonics, Social Studies, STEM, Art, and Music

• Social skills: problem solving, increase vocabulary, better understanding of self and others, self-esteem development, 

Ages 3-5 Years Old: Children MUST be toilet trained upon start of school

This is an 11 month program from Mid-August to July. The Preschool will observe all holidays, vacations, and summer break as listed on the school calendar unless otherwise noted.
