What is the application deadline?
- Our application deadlines have been extended for the 2020-2021 school year. Please submit your application to our school office as soon as possible.
What are the steps to successful enrollment?
- Apply.
- Attend a mandatory screening or shadow visit
- Meet with the Principal.
- If invited to attend, submit your registration fee
- Complete our online registration packet

- “Intent to re-register” forms are sent to current families in March. We have a much better idea of our numbers by April. Please inquire with our school office at that time.

- The tuition for 2020-2021 school year is:
- First child $9,767.00
- Second child $9,407.00
- Third child $9,010.00
- Fourth child $8,800.00
- Class Fees per student: $100.00
- Curricular Fees per student: $150.00
- Please note: There is a non-refundable registration fee of $575.00 per Family which is not included in tuition or any other fees.
Is tuition assistance available?
- Contact the office for information on available tuition assistance.
- All families interested in applying should start the process in November/December of the year prior.
How many students are there in each class?
- NDE makes every attempt to maintain class size at:
- Approximately 25 students for Kindergarten through Grade 2.
- Approximately 30 students for Grade 3 through Grade 5.
- Approximately 32 students for Grade 6 through Grade 8.
Do you have after school care?
- Yes, we offer an Extended Care program under the direction of our school before and after school hours.Brochures are available.
- In addition to the traditional after school care, NDE offers after school clubs. Club availability is based on current student interest.
Do NDE students participate in sports?
- NDE is a member of the PPSL (Peninsula Parish School League). Depending upon class interest, our fourth through eighth graders participate in basketball (boys and girls), baseball (boys), track (boys and girls), and volleyball (girls).
