Notre Dame Elementary offers the perfect balance of class and community size. With an ideal student-teacher ratio and two teachers in each K-5 classroom, students receive personalized attention while enjoying a vibrant social environment. Our diverse activities and buddy classes foster connections across age groups, and the school’s size ensures ample leadership opportunities. At Notre Dame Elementary, Catholic families will find a strong foundation in the Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, which guide our unique learning community. Our daily routines include morning and afternoon prayers, while our religion curriculum covers age-appropriate sacraments and Catholic liturgical celebrations.

Students participate in all-school masses and prayer services throughout the year. Our Social Emotional Learning program, Friendzy, incorporates Scripture and Catholic virtues, and we provide Virtus lessons to ensure child protection.

Additionally, Neptune Navigate offers online safety lessons grounded in Scripture. This comprehensive approach integrates faith and values into every aspect of our students’ education.

Non-Catholic families at Notre Dame Elementary are welcomed into an inclusive community where both religious and non-religious celebrations are part of school events. We focus on fostering the best in each student, regardless of their faith or background, emphasizing compassionate citizenship and strong values. Our community engagement includes service projects, buddy class activities, peer mentoring, and a student council. All religions are respected and included in appropriate contexts.

Class sizes vary for each grade according to administration discretion.  

Yes, we provide an Extended Care program that operates after school hours. This program includes a variety of enrichment activities such as music, coding, art, chess, Lego building, and a Friday Movie Day with popcorn!

In addition to our regular after-school care, we partner with Electivity to offer a range of afterschool activities, including soccer, flag football, taekwondo, and more. We also have after-school clubs based on student interest.

NDE is a proud member of the Peninsula Parish School League (PPSL). Depending on student interest, our fourth through eighth graders have the opportunity to participate in basketball (both boys and girls), baseball (boys), track and field (both boys and girls), and volleyball (girls).

Choicelunch is available at an additional cost, offering a variety of hot and cold meal options. You can easily order lunch through an app, where you’ll find numerous choices. Each meal includes an entrée and a bag with optional sides such as snacks, drinks, and fruits or vegetables. Choicelunch also provides a bin with condiments, compostable cutlery, and napkins for convenience.

Rolling applications are being extended for the 2024-2025 school year based on space availability.  Please submit your application as soon as possible.

For the 2024-2025 school year, priority application deadline for Kindergarten through 8th grade is Friday, January 25, 2024.   We will accept applications after January 25th for grades that have space. Please reach out to Maureen Smith at msmith@nde.org with questions on availability.

Kindergarten: Children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025, and complete a Kindergarten readiness assessment.

First Grade: Must be 6 years old by September 1, 2025.

The tuition for the current 2024-2025 school year is:

• First child: $12,500.00 
• Additional children: $12,075.00 
• Class Fee (per student): $100.00
• Curricular Fee (per student): $400.00

Please note: There is a non-refundable registration fee of $575.00 per child which is not included in tuition or any other fees.
