Complete and submit an application.

Rolling applications are being extended for the 2022-2023 school year based on space availability.  Please submit your application as soon as possible.

For the 2023-2024 school year, priority application deadline for Kindergarten through 7th grade is January 25, 2023.   We will accept applications after January 25th for grades that have space. Please reach out to Maureen Smith at msmith@nde.org with questions on availability.   

1. Submit application.
2. Attend mandatory screening or shadow visit.
3. Meet with the Principal.
4. If invited to attend, submit registration fee.
5. Complete registration packet.

Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by September 1, 2023 (and take Kindergarten readiness assessment).

First Grade: Must be 6 years old by September 1, 2023

The tuition for 2023-2024 school year is:

• First child $11,500.00 
• Additional children $11,100.00 
• Class Fees per student: $100.00
• Curricular Fees per student: $400.00

Please note: There is a non-refundable registration fee of $575.00 per child ($500 additional children) which is not included in tuition or any other fees.

Class sizes vary for each grade.  We have a maximum of 25 students in Kindergarten through Grade 5.

Yes, we offer an Extended Care program under the direction of our school after school hours.  Extended care includes enrichment activities such as music, coding, art, chess, Lego building and Friday Movie Day (with popcorn)!

In addition to the traditional after school care, NDE offers after school clubs. Club availability is based on current student interest.

NDE is a member of the PPSL (Peninsula Parish School League). Depending upon class interest, our fourth through eighth graders participate in basketball (boys and girls), baseball (boys), track (boys and girls), and volleyball (girls).

NDE provides Choicelunch options.  Your student will receive an entrée plus a bag with the sides ordered (snacks, drinks, and fruits/veggies). Choicelunch also deliver a bin with condiments, compostable cutlery, and napkins to the school with lunch.
