Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Notre Dame Elementary School! We are a campus for students in preschool through eighth grade. Notre Dame Elementary School (NDE) is a caring, engaged community. NDE is rooted in the educational tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, who founded the school in 1851. Our dedicated faculty and staff provide a caring environment where we “teach the children what they need to know for life” (St. Julie Billiart), through providing rigorous depth of learning, community service, student leadership, and values-based learning as described in the Hallmarks of a Notre Dame Learning Community. Our small class sizes are tailored to meet individualized learning needs and provide student support. At Notre Dame Elementary School, learning lights the way to prepare students who are intellectually curious and engaged, rooted in the Gospel and Notre Dame values, and committed to service. As our school philosophy states, “We develop curricular, extracurricular, and spiritual life programs which expand our students’ knowledge and understanding of the diversity in our world community and teach them to become global citizens. In our programs and teaching, we promote Gospel values, intellectual excellence, and commitment to service.”
