NDE NEWS
8th grader Meg and 7th grader Ellie represented NDE in the annual CMEA's (California Music Education
Association) Bay Area Honor Choir on Jan 13-14. Over 120 7th-9th grade singers were nominated to participate by their choral directors for high level of musicianship and vocal skills. Rehearsals and a concert for families and friends at San Jose State University occurred in conjunction with the annual Bay Area Winter Conference for music educators. While the teachers attended music sessions, hundreds of students involved in Honor Choir, Honor Band and Honor Orchestra prepared music selections to perform in an afternoon Concert for families and friends. NDE was the only Catholic school participating!
